Applicants are invited for 2 Physician Associate post in Paediatrics.


This is an exciting opportunity to join Chesterfield Royal Hospital to gain excellent experience in acute paediatric care within the Child Health department.


A challenging and rewarding role, the posts are essential to supporting the re-modelling and modernisation of the current clinical workforce.


You will be expected to work alongside 2 other Physician Associates already in post as well as junior doctors and nurses to help deliver high standards of care.


Once in post there will be opportunity to gain specific skills that will enable you to become an invaluable member of the Child Health team.


Close supervision and training will be provided during a defined preceptorship period and beyond, enabling you to embed core skills, knowledge and competencies and a designated consultant supervisor will oversee and support career development.

Working days initially, once first year preceptorship is completed, will cover a shift pattern which will include some weekend and twilight shifts as well as normal days.
