Position Overview
Putnam PHMR are looking to recruit a consultant with experience in scientific communications and/or medical/market access writing. The role will be centered on strategic and tactical value communications across this expanding side of our business.

There will be a focus on innovative visual information design and platforms to directly address the needs of different decision makers driving pricing, reimbursement, and market access decisions.

Working within the Market Access Strategy team, this role presents a strong opportunity to further develop expertise in the delivery of value communications tools, including digital solutions, whilst growing your understanding of the global payer environment, HTA methods and processes and strategic market access needs.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Contributing (writing and/or editing/reviewing) to the development and design of a range of value communication activities to support market access (e.g., evidence-based value propositions, global value dossiers [including electronic dossiers], interactive slide decks, and digital solutions), supporting both the Market Access Strategy team and the Market Access Research Science team, as required
  • Deliver outputs focused on targeted and creative visual design using both established and emerging approaches to value communication
  • Internal and clientfacing project management
  • Regular communication and collaboration with other colleagues working on value communications in both our Market Access Strategy team and Market Access Research Science team
  • Providing training to the wider team in value communication methods and design (Senior)
  • Mentoring of junior staff (Senior) _(line management opportunities may become available as this area of the business expands, depending on experience/preference)_

Desired Skills and Experience
-
4 years+ consultancy (market access/healthcare/medical communications) or pharma industry experience

  • Experience of reviewing and transforming clinical and health economic data into a succinct but engaging story with a visual focus across a variety of therapeutic areas
  • An understanding of HTA methods and processes and of the global payer environment, including pricing and reimbursement
  • Experience of successfully managing a portfolio of projects, including but not limited to value propositions, value presentations, presentational toolsStrong interest in designing and implementing digital solutions for market access/value communication
  • Strong analytical skills as well as ability to think critically to challenge input and offer creative solutions
  • A cando approach to all tasks and commitment to delivering timely highquality results
  • Excellent written, and fluent speaking, English
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills in terms of both function and presentation; an "eye for design"
  • Good MS Word, Outlook and Excel skills
  • Desirable requirements:_
  • Experience in developing value propositions and global value dossiers _(highly desirable)_
  • Experience in designing and implementing digital solutions for market access/value communications
