The People Services Team is a support function providing day-to-day support to our Bidfood employees, managers and the wider People & Sustainability team.
As a key member of the, People Services team you will be responsible for ensuring SLA's are met acrossall transactions and areas of our work.
Payroll Officer role:
The role of a Payroll Officer is to process the payment of salaries for an allocated group of employees ensuring that statutory and third party or other deductions are correctly taken and they will also undertake other allocated tasks involved in the processingof payroll at agreed times.
The role holder will also respond to any payroll related queries and support the People Services strategy to offer an efficient and professional service maintaining and exceeding standards and service requirements.
You will be responsible for providing accurate process related advice on payroll and benefits policies and procedures and inputting employee data into the Bidfood payroll systems for your specific depots and departments in your area.
You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal senior management and external suppliers and utilise their platforms to share data.
You will get involved in ad hoc projects and have the ability to juggle these as and when they arise, in addition to your normal daily and weekly tasks.
You will have a strong administration background in a fast paced, high volume environment and have the determination and resilience to manage the workload.
You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail and have the ability to identifyand contribute to process improvements.
Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential as this is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in payroll.
