Treasury Business Partner | Social Housing | Merseyside 1 day a week | Flexible working
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a housing association based near Liverpool to recruit a Financial Planning Business Partner. They are a highly regarded employer in the local area with a V1 rating. They offer an extremely flexible working pattern andonly require you in the office 1 day a week.


Role:

Working closely with the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the group's treasury management.

Responsibilities;

  • Supporting the Financial Controller in optimising use of borrowing facilities and available cash across the Group, ensuring availability of cash, minimisation of interest payments and management of counterparty risk in accordance with the Treasury Policy
  • Completing short term and medium term cash flow forecasting for the group, developing and maintaining forward focused cash flow forecasts which demonstrate ongoing viability
  • Treasury accounting and reporting for operational, regulatory and statutory purposes
  • Support the development and maintenance of robust systems and procedures for submitting accurate and timely loan covenant returns to the Group's lenders.
  • Maintaining accurate records of loan securitisation position and valuations in accordance with bank covenants
  • Providing a financial accounting service for investments
  • Developing and maintaining systems and procedures which enable the Group to have a short and medium term view of current and future loan covenant compliance
  • Ensuring the Group complies with all of its regulatory VAT and Tax obligations, developing and maintaining strategies and procedures to minimise the Group's tax liability
**Person:

The successful Accountant will be**:

  • CCAB/CIMA qualified or QBE
  • Strong treasury management background, or first move from practice
  • Social housing experience would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to effectively work from home
