LOCUM CONSULTANT PHYSICAN IN ACUTE AND GENERAL MEDICINE

QUEEN ELIZABETH UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Medical HDU - the job plan includes 1.25 PAs of time working in MHDU on weekdays.

This equates to approximately 21 days of cover annually and these are likely to be covered in blocks of days to provide continuity.

The job plan will also include a further 1.75 PAs of clinical time that could be spent supporting the general medical activities of the department, for example supporting the established boarders team or working in continuing care.

This activity would be agreed between the successful applicant and the Clinical Director

Applicants must have full GMC registration and a licence to practise.

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT in General Internal Medicine or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of Interview.

Non UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
