JOB PURPOSE:


Support the Stores Manager to secure that materials, tools and equipment are stored and managed in accordance with Part 145 requirements, guaranteeing their availability in a cost-efficient manner to support on-time delivery of aircraft being maintained at Inflite.


ACCOUNTABILITY:


  • Responsible to find best solutions to support ontime delivery of aircraft.
  • Responsible to support company needs in providing optimum investments solutions that protect budget and improve company efficiency.
  • Responsible for the stock inventory in accordance with ITJC's procedures.
  • Accountable for compliance with applicable regulations in all aspects of the activity (Part 145 MOE; DGR/HAZMAT, HMRC export, Export control).
  • Accountable for the efficient and correct usage of ITJC's

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The main duties and responsibilities are but are not limited to:

  • The day to day running of the stores, the organisation and control of labour, including holiday and shift cover where required while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Ensuring correct materials handling and storage conditions are maintained to regulation standards, and in particular:
  • Ensuring shelf life items are properly managed.
  • Ensuring continuous serviceability and calibration of tooling and equipment.
  • Ensuring that core returns are processed as directed in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring proper packing, tagging prior to storage.
  • Ensuring internal reorder process of consumables.
  • Ensuring that interfaces between Hangar, Technical Services, Purchasing, Finance and stores are maintained to a high level.
  • Ensuring on time closure of audit findings and safety reports.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping within the stores environment and associated remote storage areas.
  • Ensuring that all despatched items are routed through the appropriate carriers with particular attention being paid to the carriage of hazardous goods.
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant company and Health and Safety procedures.
  • So far as quality is concerned, he is to ensure that all staff under his control are properly directed, have comprehensive work instructions, and adequately briefed on each activity and understand and work to the quality system.
  • The control and disposal of packaging and stores associated waste products.
  • Constantly seek improvement in all activities to maximise productivity and minimise cost.

If WINGS Super-User:


  • Ensure WINGS updates are safe to be implemented.
  • Support continuous improvement of WINGS.
  • Perform any other duties within hers/his capabilities as directed by the Company.

AUTHORITIES:


  • Defines priorities and objectives to coordinate and monitor achievements among his department.
  • To request and provide assistance to other managers/departments in the company.
  • To propose additional trainings and procedures updates.

QUALIFICATIONS PREREQUISITES:


  • Have proven experience in stores and warehouse operations, a minimum of 5 years from which 2 years in a Part 145 environment is required.
  • Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Show strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Show a good sense of priorities.
  • Strong PC user skills (Excel, Word).
  • Experienced in the usage of Wings ERP (or equivalent).
  • Time flexibility.
