Description
Our client who is a well established manufacturing business are now seeking additional CNC Machinists to work a 39 hour week plus overtime in their busy machine shop.
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the efficient operation of production machinesproducing high quality components following engineering drawings.CNC Machinist - Key Tasks - CNC / Machining / Production / Engineering
- Produce CNC Programmes
- Setup and Operate the Machines
- Knowledge of workshop practices
- Report problems and record cycle times
- Maintain the safe and efficient running of the machines
- Working in line with the Company quality and Health and Safety policies
CNC Machinist - The Person - CNC / Machining / Production / Engineering
- Preferably apprentice trained or hold a relevant mechanical engineering qualification
- Able to part program
- Good understanding of metal cutting techniques, choice of tooling, work holding, speeds and feeds etc.
- Understand and follow routings and planning
