The Opportunity

What does the role entail?
The principal aspects of the role will include those listed below, but team members must be flexible and willing to work outside their core areas when required:

  • Authoring all five cases of business cases.
  • Calculating benefits, costs and other inputs required to build the economic and financial model.
  • Writing Benefits Management Strategies.
  • Evaluating Value for Money.
  • Assessing the economic and social impact of investments.
  • Responding to Request for Proposals for HM Treasury Green Book Five Case Business Cases.
  • Creating business case collateral and marketing material.
  • Working collaboratively with team members on client and internal projects.
  • Developing and delivering high quality outputs which drive client satisfaction and deliver against programme needs.
  • Monitoring and adapting to emerging trends, policies, and leading practices in Central, Local Government and other public bodies and regulators.
  • Supporting the development of our business case and benefits management knowledge base and methodologies aligned to leading and emerging thinking.
  • Supporting the development of new client relationships including supporting marketing and business development activities.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of public sector clients.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of delivering HM Treasury Green Book Five Case Business Cases and Benefits Management.
  • Strong knowledge and experience the economic and financial modelling required for HM Treasury Green Book Five Case Business Cases.
  • Ability to shape bids and client offerings, building on to the current BearingPoint capabilities
  • Ability to manage colleagues and small teams in delivering projects.
  • Develops good relationships with senior business leaders based on trust and respect.
  • Ability to think in a logical and structured way.
  • A creative approach to problem solving and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent business writing skills and confidence presenting.
  • Competent project management skills.
  • Be open minded, assertive, cooperative, strong sense of team, vision driven.
  • Strong commercial acumen within the field of management consulting.
