A Primary School in the BS13 area of Bristol is currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their friendly and supportive EYFS team.

As part of a large Trust, the school provides high quality education for primary aged children, supporting families and the community around them.

Learning Support Assistants are a fundamental part of the teaching and learning at this school.

The Role


You will be joining a 2 form entry Primary School who are looking for an LSA to join their reception class to work with a pupil with ASD.


You will be expected to work closely with the Class Teacher to develop activities to support the pupil on a 1 to 1 basis.


You will be expected to:

  • Have experience working with SEND children.
  • Have experience supporting and leading small groups and individuals.
  • Be flexible and use your own initiative when supporting children.
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other EYFS staff.
  • Assess the child's development and adapt activities to challenge the pupil.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm


Salary:
£82.00-£90.00 per day


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to Commute:

  • Bristol (required)
