Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Support Workers/Healthcare assistants to support our service user with his complex care needs.


We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers/Healthcare assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Meet our service user


Our service user is a gentleman in his 40's who lives in Shildon in an adapted annex with his family.

He requires support throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis with his complex care needs.


He is a very sociable guy, who loves getting out and about into the local community some of his favourite places to visit are the theatre, cinema, going to concerts, and he enjoys shopping.


At home he likes to relax by watching TV and films, using his iPad and computer and socialising with his family and care team.


Throughout the day you will be there to support his social well-being by actively engaging in activities, assisting him to enjoy his hobbies and interests and supporting with his social interaction.

You will support with all daily living activities, including personal care, moving, and handling and attending to his clinical care needs when required.


Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Oral suctioning
  • Gastrostomy Care (Peg Feeding)
  • Ventilation Management

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time Days & Nights Available
  • 23 shifts per week
  • Days: 11:00am 5:00pm
  • Evenings: 5:00pm 10:00pm
  • Nights: 9:00pm 7:00am

Take a look at our payrates
Weekdays - £12.00 per hour - (Approx. up to £72 per 6-hour shift)

Weeknights - £12.50 per hour - (Approx. £125.00 per 10-hour shift)

Weekends - £13.00 per hour - (Approx. up to £130 per 10-hour shift)

Bank Holidays - £14.00 per hour - (Approx. up to £140 per 10-hour shift)
