Responsibilities and Duties

Test products using departmental reports and procedures dealing with preproduction, gold seal and returned products.
Investigate product issues until satisfactory conclusion
Liaise with colleagues in the Far East with findings and suggested improvements of products
Manage work load in conjunction with the buying team ensuring all products to be set up are tested in a timely fashion
File reports in product technical files
Liaise with other departments within the company answering product enquiries

Skills and Desirables_

Prior experience maintaining product quality in line with UK & European legislation
A track record within quality assurance
Team player who is comfortable working as part of a small closeknit team
Good reporting and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Computer literate
Flexible during busy periods
Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative as required
Able to work under pressure, working to deadlines and targets using time management
