We're looking for a Hub Operator to join our Transportation team based Southeast regional hub control room at Coldharbour depot, Aylesford.

Permanent, Full time (Shift pattern - Days/Nights, 4on 4off)
Salary:
£27,300 + Benefits
Responsibilities
As a Hub Operator, you'll be a single point of contact for Kier Transportation team supporting the Area 3 & 4, Birmingham & Shropshire team's response to incident management, safety observations, stakeholder liaison and general enquiries.
Your day to day will include:
- Acting as a first point of contact for Kier in relation to incidents, emergency repairs and severe weather on the network
- Using CONFIRM, Deploy, and manage the resources required to support National Highways with incidents and defects
- Produce and maintain accurate incident logs and record information gathered from multiple sources
- Monitor Airwave radio communications, ensuring a strict radio discipline is maintained
- Actively promote Health & Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and report and record safety observations
