Senior Administration and Clerical Technical Officer - Procurement and Stock Control

Pharmacy Directorate

Band 3

37.5 hours per week


We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Pharmacy Procurement and Stores team as a Senior Administration and Clerical Technical Officer.


The previous experience we are looking for as follows:

  • Previous experience with invoice / credit processing and worked with finance issues
  • Word processing
  • Using Excel spread sheets / Experience of inputting and manipulating data into reporting databases.
  • Interpreting reports / statements
  • Experience of evaluating and translating information from a variety of sources.
  • Experience of communicating with suppliers / customers over the phone
  • Problem solving
  • Good organisational skills


This post will be required to liaise with external organisation to facilitate the timely reimbursement process where the supplier has not been able to honour current contractual agreements.

We are looking for someone who is able to show initiative; is helpful and approachable; organised and can work accurately; good IT skills, problem solving and communication skills.


You will have previous experience in an administrative role in a similar environment, with a willingness to work in other areas within pharmacy when required.

There will be a commitment to support the stores area on a daily basis.
