Salary:
£23,400

Hours: 45 per week:

6.30 am3.30 pm or 3 pm11 pm (these will change depending on if we have functions in the evenings 9 hours per day. This is across 5 days, with 2 rest days.

**Role Purpose: **An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic F&B Assistant / Waiter within an evolving hotel group based in Tunbridge Wells.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering an attentive experience to guests and diners
Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
Serving food and drink promptly and diligently
Monitoring all aspects of the customer's experience from the restaurant layout

before they arrive, to the experience they receive while there, and act to enhance
that experience and remedy potential problems so that service is seamless

Maintain the exceptionally high standards of the restaurant
Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all guests
Handling complaints, requests and enquiries
Acting as an ambassador for the establishment
Becoming and remaining fully knowledgeable on the food and drinks menus
Handsonon approach with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
Ensure cleanliness of work areas
Prepare setups for tables and/or rooms
To assist in the receipt of deliveries.
To notify the Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor where stocks/supplies are low.
To support colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met.
To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by a member of the management team to fulfil the needs of the business.

Key Skills and Knowledge

Have previous experience working in a waiting/head waiting role in a similar highquality environment
Have exceptional organisational, supervisory and communication skills
Have a passion for providing excellent customer service
Be energetic and enthusiastic towards your work, a positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Flexible
Experience with cash handling
