Call Handler


I am working with an organisation based in Perth, Scotland who are looking for a number of Call Handler's to join their Triage team.

The roles are full time, to start on the 22nd April 2024 and will run for 7 months initially.

The roles are paying £13.14 PAYE per hour plus holiday pay.

The role requires you to be onsite for training and offers hybrid working pattern post training (50/50)

There are various shifts patterns that need covering from 8am-8pm.

There is free parking on site and the office is serviced by good public transport routes.


Job Purpose

  • To enhance the customer experience & save customers from bouncing around the system, reducing failure demand in the frontline team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The calls are an average of 2 mins the person must understand the customer demand and direct the customers to the correct area.
  • There will be a set of questions (tool) to direct the calls this tool is being built and will tell the person which demand is directed to which route.

Knowledge & Skills

  • The person will be required to demand capture so this can be analysed.
  • Must have excellent communication skills/ customer service and empathy and the ability to utilize the system.
