Major Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Furniture Assembler role for their well-established client based in Oldbury on a temporary to permanent basis.

Please note this role is office based in Oldbury and IS NOT a remote working or hybrid role._

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 08.30am - 4.30pm but must be flexible to come in early or leave late if deliveries need to be done

Rate of pay £10-12ph depending on experience.


Duties and tasks will include:

  • Furniture assembly, including tables and chairs, with basic power tools.
  • Quality check everything once assembled.
  • Wrapping and unwrapping of furniture.
  • Loading completed furniture onto delivery vehicles
  • Will be required to accompany delivery drivers around the UK to deliver and fit furniture.
  • Heavy lifting
  • General warehouse duties
  • Read and follow floorplan to layout and fit the furniture in various locations.

Requirements:


  • Skilful and expert in furniture assembly and using hand and air power tools.
  • Hours will be flexible; some early starts are required within the week.
  • Enthusiastic teammember who wants to join a dynamic and fastpaced warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of furniture required.
  • Visited and worked on a working site before is not essential but preferred.
  • Clean driving licence preferred, but not essential.

Salary:
£10.00-£12.00 per hour

Experience:
