We do what we say

  • We're keen to hear from people like you who make it their business to get things done on time and to the right standard through monitoring and reporting against milestones or targets._
When things go to plan, everyone's happy and at Clancy we love to celebrate our successes.

Life would be challenging without our teams of Planners who make sure that what's right for us commercially is delivered operationally.

The Role:

Our projects rely on successful planning and project management, as well as operational excellence and customer focus.

This is your opportunity to be there at the beginning of the project lifecycle and help us to map out what needs to be achieved and to what standard, as well as the optimum resourcing levels.

You'll liaise between department and with stakeholders to ensure requirements and expectations are clearly defined.

It's highly likely that these requirements will need to be translated into accurate and concise work instructions to avoid any misunderstanding.

What you'll be doing:

We'll utilize your superb monitoring skills to keep work on track to meet business, customer and safety objectives.

There'll be data to collate, information systems to update and queries to be resolved, and you'll make certain that colleagues have the correct MI to accelerate decision-making.

Here are some of the other activities we'll need you to deliver:

  • Utilizing recognised planning processes and systems to keep projects and work on track
  • Updating stakeholders on progress
  • Complying with Clancy and/or customer reporting deadlines and protocols
  • Resolving queries or escalating (with options)
  • Verifying jobs and ensuring "works start permit" has been raised and issued to appropriate authorities.
  • Verifying the job to check the site is clear of all items and the works stop permit issued.
  • Provide support to site operatives when variations to permits are needed.
  • Support Operation Site Managers with any permit queries and adjust permits when necessary.
  • Liaise with the Local Authority to request permit extensions.

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate

That you're a detailed and forward-thinking approach to problem solving, as well as dedicated organiser who thrives on getting the right things done on time and in working in a pressurised environment.

A team-focused operator who communicates clearly with a range of different stakeholders and leaves nothing to chance. It's taken as read that you enjoy keeping systems and project documentation or plans up to date and accurate.

It's helpful if you understand H&S and Streetworks legislation, as well as the commercial environment in which we operate.

(This is a part time role to cover weekends, holiday entitlement is 12.8 PA pro rata.)
