Overview:

We are recruiting for a successful manufacturing business who are looking to take on an International VAT Specialist due to significant growth.

This is a newly formed position that will see you take ownership of the VAT processes ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, VAT optimisation and designing procedures to meet the current and future business needs across all international territories.

As an experienced International VAT Specialist you will strive to ensure that the optimal VAT position is maintained.

You will review the group's VAT position, identify any risks, shortfalls, issues and lead the implementation of mitigating action to minimise any impact.

You will communicate this with the wider business and educate the VAT laws and implement clear strategies. The analysis you provide to Senior Management will support with compliance and give tax planning advice.

Skills required:

Be a strong communicator. This is important as you communicate with internal and external stakeholders from both financial and nonfinancial backgrounds.
Driven individual, who is used to working in a rapidly changing environment and who is comfortable proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change.
Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
