An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Diabetes & Endocringology admin team on a 3 year fixed term contract, based on the new Royal site of Liverpool University Hospital FT.


We are seeking a team player and an individual who possesses sound computer and keyboard skills and experience within an NHS admin setting would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills.

To provide support to the Principal Practitioner Psychologist.

Including, but not limited to, the typing of dictation from audio transcription of clinical correspondence and documentation to a high level of accuracy.


Excellent I.T skills, knowledge of medical terminology and secretarial procedures and the ability to prioritise own workload as well as working as part of a team are all essential attributes for this post.


Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Type dictation from audio transcription of clinical correspondence and documentation.

Ensure appropriate follow up arrangements/investigation's are in place.

To deal with telephone enquiries promptly and politely using tact, discretion and empathy in all situations.

General office duties and any other duties required by line manager.
