Are you currently working with children and looking for a new role?

Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person's everyday life and would like to progress your career by working with children who require complex and clinical care?

We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our young service user who has complex and clinical care needs.

We offer comprehensive training allowing you to enhance your experience of working with children in a more clinical role. Training can include but is not limited to;

Tracheostomy Care
Ventilation management
Personal Care
Moving & Handling
Gastrostomy Care (PEG feed)

Meet our service user

Our service user is a 4-year-old pre-schooler who lives in her family home in Birmingham and requires support throughout the day and night.

She is very vocal, loves to socialise with her family and carers and enjoys lots of interaction and play time.

Throughout the day your role will be to support with her morning routine at home before accompanying her to her educational setting.

Here you will closely observe and tend to her clinical care needs when required, you will ensure her comfort and promote social interaction.

Throughout the night you will be required to attend to her clinical care needs, support with personal care, all moving and handling, repositioning, and offer reassurance and comfort if she does awake.

This is a great opportunity where you will be using your valuable skills from your experience as a Childcare Practitioner and develop into a Children's Complex Care Assistant.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We have the following shifts available;

Full Time and Part Time
Days
8am4pm
Nights
8pm8am

Weekdays :
£13.50 per hour (£108 approx. per shift)

Weeknights :
£14.00 per hour(£126 approx. per shift)

Saturday :
£14.00 per hour(£126 approx. per shift)

Sunday :
£14.00 per hour (£126 approx. per shift)

Bank Holiday :
£15.50 per hour (£139.50 approx. per shift)
