Main Purpose and Scope of Job

Statement of Accountabilities

  • Administrating and processing payroll on a monthly basis for the organisation
  • Maintaining the daily time and attendance system clocking's
  • Processing all types of manual payroll calculations, starters, leavers, management of sick pay schemes.
  • Managing the pension payments and reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Year end payroll such as P60's and P11d's
  • Keeping up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Proactively liaise with HMRC and assist with technical enquiries when they arise.
  • Able to work professionally and confidentially when handling person data.
  • Be competent in the use and knowledge of payroll systems, databases and have accurate keyboard skills
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft packages to input and collate information for auditing and reports

Expert Knowledge

  • Administrating and processing payroll
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience using Sage payroll (Sage Line 50)

Up to £28,000.00 per year
