We are now recruiting for Full time Flexi drivers for one of our clients based in Teynham Sittingbourne.

Role Summary:
To move advised customer stock pallets to and from the stores to the ripening rooms.

To make sure all moved stock pallets are scanned to and from advised locations and stored in a safe and particle manner.

Report any and all pallet issues and discrepancies to the ripening team to maintain accurate movements and stock accountability.

4 ON 4 OFF DAYS AND NIGHTS 7AM-7PM/7PM-7AM DAYS £11.43 (£14.29 overtime rate) NIGHT £11.93 (£14.91 overtime rate)

Main Responsibilities:

Move ripening stock around site using appropriate equipment (i.e. reach truck, Flexi) and ensure all pallet movements are scanned in and out of location.
Follow all advised site health and safety protocols (clean as you go)
Check and verify all advised movements are completed as requested.
Carry out a weekly clean of the ripening facility and its rooms using company provided equipment (floor scrubber) and machinery.
To make sure all ripening rooms have been loaded as per training.
Advise the ripening team of any pallets that require restacking pre or post loading / unloading.
Report all breakages/breakdowns to ripening manager for MHE and fabrication (i.e. ripening doors, framework).
Maintain working MHE by completing the daily MHE daily inspection booklet.
Maintain high levels of Health, Safety, Hygiene, housekeeping and contamination practices and standards in your work area.
Communicate effectively with warehouse and ripening team to report any issues with storage racking if not suitable for storing pallets ex ripening process.
