URP are part of SIG Plc., a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products.

We are currently looking to recruit a Production Operative who will be able to manufacture various products efficiently and in a timely manner.

What does the role involve?:

As a Production Operative you will be required to operate machinery such as glue guns, guillotines and panel saws. Working as part of a wider team, you will fabricate various products, label goods for despatch and complete relevant paperwork which are allto be carried out to the highest standard.
A good awareness of health and safety, safe working practices and a strong work ethic
To be educated to a level of basic Mathematics and be fluent in both verbal and written English
Physical fitness, as some manual warehouse work will be required
Selfmotivation and selfdiscipline able to work to deadlines efficiently without constant supervision
Experience in using your own initiative and being part of a team whilst working in a factory environment
Flexibility to work on rational shift patterns
FLT licence ideal, but not essential (training can be given)
