Welfare and Security Officer

Our client provides accommodation and support to single homeless adults.

This position is to ensure that clients are safe and secure during out of office hours. It is expected that out of hours visits will be scheduled according to the individual needs of the clients.

Clients will be given the support to understand the terms and conditions of their licence agreement, house rules and any other policies and procedures.

You will work as part of the out of hours team, ensuring that clients are reminded of the terms and conditions, as required, to ensure that they are adhering to them and therefore able to sustain their accommodation within the service.

All properties aredry houses, alcohol or illegal drugs are prohibited.

Welfare and Security Officer requirements

Previous experience within welfare / working with vulnerable adults required.
Have an enhanced DBS.
Experience in security and have a fire marshal certificate preferred.
Able to listen, be patient and a good strong communicator required.
Due to the nature of this position, you must be a car driver owning your own vehicle, allocated 4 properties to visit
Petrol cost will be paid for.
