Role:
Manual Machinist


Location:
Havant, Hampshire

Shift:
Monday to Friday - Days/Shifts
Term: 16 weeks on contract then permanent


Salary:
£11.50 to £12.50 per hour + overtime


The rate displayed is the basic rate but as you are working shifts (6am till 2pm or 2pm till 10pm) there is an allowance of either 20% or 25% uplift on the basis shift.

We are recruiting for an experienced Manual Machinists to support our clients operation near Havant. Working at a large company with lots of opportunities to progress.

The Role:
Loading and unloading Lathes and Mills
Machining parts from aluminium and steel
Carrying out basic inspection
Ensuring the machines run smoothly

Training on a XYZ CNC machine will also be done

About You:
General engineering / machining experience preferred.
£11.50 to £12.50 per hour depending on experience
Genuine ongoing training and development
Regular overtime
Immediate start
Permanent positions for those that want them after the 16 week temp period.
