Summary

We are looking for a Welfare Assistant to join our 2 form entry school.
We are looking for a Lunchtime Welfare Assistant who:

  • is calm and supportive with pupils
- will develop positive relationships with adults and children
- will support children in developing social skills
- is able to help to organise and participate in playground games
- will manage behaviour in accordance with the school behaviour policy


You will be required to supervise children in the dining hall, during the lunchtime service and in the playground organising play & supervising activities/games for the children, and providing supervision inside on rainy days.

The hours of work are from 11.55 to 1.05 pm every day - Monday to Friday during term time.
If you are successful you will be required to undertake a DBS check.

Essential Qualifications

Childcare Qualification (Level 2) or equivalent or proven experience of working in a children's environment.

First Aid Certificate
