What will you be doing?

  • Ensure deliveries of waste are conducted in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor quality of material being delivered to the site
  • Maintain good standards of housekeeping in the tipping hall
  • Operate mobile plant to help facilitate good housekeeping/ maintenance and deliveries (full training will be provided)
  • Actively participate in the positive Health & Safety culture
  • Monitor all persons within the tipping hall and report any Health and Safety concerns
  • Assist shift operations staff with management of refuse pit and operation of refuse cranes
  • Assist the shift operations staff with general running of the plant as directed by the Shift Team Leader

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience gained in a similar role
  • Previous mobile plant experience is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards in this area.
  • An excellent team player and communicator with a positive attitude
