JOB- Manufacturing and Shipping Planner or ManagerLOCATION-Billericay
TERM- PermanentSALARY- £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus benefits (dependent on experience)**We are looking for a Manufacturing and Shipping Planner or Manager on a permanent basis in the Billericay area with experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Your main duty will be to Manage the planning aspects of production and shipping day to day as wellas using an MRP system.


The Manufacturing and Shipping Planner will ideally have the following attributes:


  • Experienced in a production or shipping planning position previously.
  • Experience within a manufacturing business.
  • Familiar with production control and logistics control.
  • Knowledge of using MRP systems.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Be selfmotivated and have a positive attitude.
  • Good problemsolving skills.
  • Working experience of quality methods such as 5S, LEAN and Continuous Improvement (very advantageous)

The Manufacturing and Shipping Planner role will involve:

  • Attending weekly planning meetings.
  • Liaise with stores to ensure kitting is done in a timely manner.
  • Action requests from shop floor for additional material.
  • Set priorities to goodsin for incoming material
