What does the role actually involve?
- Assist in the allocation of workloads to team members
- Deputising in the absence of the Team Leader
- Ensure that the services consistently meet the requirements of our clients
- Continually promoting Business Operations' services across the firm, ensuring that the service is aligned to the business needs
- Ensuring the team are working to SLAs and achieving set targets
- Helping maintain development plans for all members of the team in relation to IT, information security and all of the equipment within the function.
- Printing/ reprographic services;
- Scanning services
- Electronic document creation and transmission
- Incoming and outgoing mail services
- Records management
What technical skills are required for someone to be successful and enjoy the role?
- Excellent IT skills with a minimum typing speed of 45wpm and good understanding and experience of using the following:
- MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Adobe
- Knowledge of Kofax Capture, MicroDicom, icompli, SeeUnity, Visual files, Fiery print driver, electronic fax systems, workflow ticketing, document management & case management systems would be an advantage

Who would be a good fit for this role?
As part of the document solutions team, you would be expected to have the following skills and experience:
- Supervisory experience in a document production/ distribution environment
- Ability to adapt to change and understand the need to develop processes
- Working under pressure and being able to deal with a challenging yet rewarding environment
- Keen to help advise and educate clients to enable them to make life easier for the services the team provide
- Effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients & colleagues
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to multitask
- A proactive, professional and flexible approach to meet clients' needs
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a calm and controlled manner and to be able to effectively manage business expectations
- Being flexible with working hours depending on the operational needs of the business
- Demonstrable experience of problemsolving, as well as building and development of relationships with clients and peer group
- Demonstrable experience of motivating teams & building team morale
