Description

At 2FX Carpentry we deliver best-in-class Carpentry Contracting services to large house builders with a commitment to Quality and Health & Safety.

We work on new build housing sites across Gloucestershire and Chepstow and cover all elements of site carpentry including first fix, second fix and roofing.

We have a fantastic team of tradesmen and are now looking for a talented individual to join us as a Carpentry Apprentice.

We have had great successes with our apprentices in the past and are looking forward to supporting another person into the trade.

Your day will include:

  • Use and maintain hand & power tools
  • Install building components including door and window frames, door and hatch linings, floor joists and coverings, straight partitions and straight staircases
  • Install doors, mouldings, ironmongery, service encasements, wall and floor units and fitments, cladding and staircase components
  • Erect inclined roofs with gables, joists, roof coverings and roof components
  • Understand the principles of environment and health and safety

Thinks to consider - Due to Health and Safety Regulations set by the House Builder, only over 18s are able to work on the site we work on.

Only over 18s will be considered for the role.

Our work is based in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and Chepstow so your ability to travel to work independently is essential.
