Graphic Packaging International - Bardon - Planning & Materials Coordinator
Graphic Packaging International is a Global Manufacturer and is the Carton Industry Leaders in Packaging and Design.


Job Purpose

  • Support Senior Planning & Material Controller roles
  • Proactively pursue all issues for effective and efficient planning for the business

Key responsibilities:


  • Daily download from Avante to AVP of new/completed jobs
  • Upload of all new plan details from AVP to Avante
  • Raise purchase orders on Avante system for cartons
  • Liase with suppliers on all issues that affect supply of cartons
  • Collate and publish Mill Lead Times to External/Internal sales
  • Alter Avante system to reflect dates and timings of board supply
  • Adjusting/re organising production
  • Resolve invoice queries
  • Ensure a good working relationship with all departments
  • Record and publish daily/weekly daily KPI, WIP and Backlog
  • Report weekly/monthly KPI
  • Checking of raised Purchase Orders v supplier confirmations
  • Closure of old/incomplete purchase orders and work orders
  • Booking in of supplier deliveries
  • Work occasional weekends, primarily during peak periods and Customer Launch cycles

Key Skills:


  • High standard of Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience with Purchasing and MRP preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Some Planning experience preferred, but not essential
  • Previous experience of Print/Packaging preferred, but not essential
  • Reliable and flexible with strong work ethic
  • Able to effectively prioritise and adapt to variable workload
  • Will be working in very fast paced environment so you must be experienced in dealing with pressure and be highly organised with an ability to multitask and manage ones own time
  • Proactive and can do attitude required
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments
  • Great team player with excellent organisational skills who has an attention for detail

Hours of work - Monday to Friday
