We are recruiting for an Operational Modeller to join our Tactical Operations team on a permanent basis

What you'll be doing:

Using the Proactive Modelling System to manage key workloads, you'll analyse and report on the effects of both planned and reactive activities on the water network.

You'll use hydraulic models to assess, record, and advise of the impact to the business and our customers of reactive and planned water services activities, and post event analysis to understand actual impact and enable accurate regulatory reporting.

Where requested, you'll assist with the successful identification and validation of new models or model upgrades, ensuring they are fit for the analytical purpose, and reporting any anomalies.

As well as this, the Operational Modeller will propose forward projection work to assist the business in ensuring investment is optimised and running costs are reduced and provide model operation training and support to the Tactical Operations team.

What does it take to be successful?

Ideally you will have experience in a modelling discipline, as well as:

Able to manage and prioritise your own time and workload and be accountable for this
Experience in using Synergi platform would be beneficial
Analytical and process orientated
Creative approach to problem solving
Works with flexibility and is adaptable
Selfdriven
Strong resilience
