Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Therapy Technical Instructor - Orthopaedics and Surgical wards.

You will be expected to assist the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering a high quality service for patients on the Surgical and orthopaedic wards in the hospital.


This may involve:

  • Teaching patients exercise programmes
  • Helping patients to walk and move
  • Working with patients to achieve as much independence as possible with washing/dressing/toileting tasks and with making hot drinks and meal preparation
  • Assisting the therapist during treatment sessions
  • Issuing mobility and functional equipment
  • Administrative tasks
Y **ou should have previous experience in an acute care setting.
