Description
Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke timber products located in Buckingham.

As a Timber Machine Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the production process.

Your primary responsibilities will include operating timber machinery efficiently and safely to manufacture bespoke timber products according to the company's specifications and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate timber machinery following established guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Ensure the accurate and precise cutting and shaping of timber materials.
  • Monitor machinery for any signs of malfunction and perform routine maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
  • Adhere to quality control standards to ensure the production of highquality timber products.
  • Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Previous experience operating timber machinery is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of timber cutting and shaping processes is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Safetyconscious with a commitment to following safety protocols.
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:


  • This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting heavy timber materials.
  • The work environment may include exposure to dust and noise, and appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.

Benefits:


  • Competitive hourly wage of £11.50 per hour.
  • Monday to Friday work schedule with an early finish on Fridays.
