Due to more expansion and internal promotions, we have the fantastic opportunity once again (and so do you) to work with our longstanding clients STEM Learning in York._

The role of
Project Officer plays a crucial part in ensuring that the Centre and Network are able to continue to provide world-leading support to STEM educators and exceed the expectations of funders and other stakeholders.

Project Officers are instrumental in ensuring that all colleagues - internal and external - are aware of and benefit from high quality programme and project management tools which provide efficiencies and quality assured support.

You will be a part of a wider team of Project Officers, Project Coordinators, Programme Leads and Managers - the engine room of STEM Learnings' operations.

You will have the following:

Excellent communication, prioritising and planning skills
Experience of working simultaneously on multiple projects, at different stages, and have the ability to switch from one to another.
The ability to write concise complex reports and proposals supported by excellent IT skills
Projects may be employer, partner or stakeholder facing so you should be able to demonstrate examples of effective relationship management external to an organisation.

You will contribute to cross-cutting activities ensuring best practice contract and project management within
STEM Learning.

An appreciation and understanding of STEM education and / or working with the voluntary sector is therefore desirable but not essential.
