The Role:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the classroom teacher to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Providing oneonone and small group support to students.
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Supporting students with their emotional and social development.
  • Collaborating with the wider school community to ensure the best possible outcomes for the students.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Relevant experience working with children in a school setting, ideally in Key Stage
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A patient and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
