Our client, based in Central London, is currently recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator on a five month interim contract.
Our client is a leading charity who provide life-changing services and support to children and their families, provingtheir commitment to the wider community.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis and the rate on offer is negotiable depending upon experience.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for all pre-payroll checks for a monthly payroll of 250 employees using the Cascade system
- Assist in entering starter details, changes and leavers, and update employee records for information relating to student loans, starter declaration forms, SSP and tax code, RTINOT
- Responsible for administering any relevant statutory deduction such as SMP, SSP, SPP, SAP, ShPP
- In charge of reviewing new functionality and testing this on the Cascade system, showing process improvements using process diagrams
- Review new functionality documentation and make recommendations
- Download and convert payroll reports from the Bureau, and liaise with the wider HR team, Finance and Bureau for process improvement
- Responsible for system configuration and testing, and BI reporting
Experience and skills required:
- Expert knowledge in payroll processes
- Strong communication and data entry skills
- Experience with systems administration, such as design mapping and testing
- Experience using Cascade Payroll/HR system
- Intermediate Excel skills
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday
- Friday 9am5pm
- Hybrid working, with two days on site per week including every Tuesday
