THE WALMER CASTLE - Notting Hill

Bar Staff/ Waiters


Duties:


  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take customer orders and serve drinks and food promptly
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked at all times
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and proper serving techniques
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
  • Culinary background or training is beneficial
