Description

Responsibilities:


  • Transport and escort children and young people.
  • To undertake and observe supervised contact for children and their families.
  • Risk managing and intervening as necessary to safeguard children.
  • You will have good report writing skills to factually describe observations within the contact session within the agreed time scale.
  • To attend and participate in planning meetings or reviews, as required.
  • Ability to prioritise safeguarding and be able to identify and respond to levels of risk
  • To attend supervision and training courses in relation to the tasks, as required.
  • Calm and approachable nature
  • Great attention to detail with regards to report writing
  • Able to deal with challenging situations/resolve conflicts
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding measures

Essential Requirements:


  • You must hold minimum level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People or equivalent
  • A current DBS for working with adults and children we can assist you

Desirable Requirements:


  • A driving licence and access to a car is desirable but not essential

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
