Simon Acres Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a Salon Receptionist to join a well-established and thriving hair salon based in Reading.**
This is a permanent position paying up to £25,000 (pro-rata).

Working Hours:
Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm or 10am-3pm, Saturday (can be flexibly worked).
They are looking for a bubbly, outgoing and well-presented professional to join their team.


The Role:


  • Booking, rescheduling and managing appointments using award winning iSalon Software
  • Running the booking system for two salons
  • Tending to customer needs, informing hairdressers/beauticians regarding customer appointments/requirements
  • Promoting and pushing loyalty cards, promotional offers and new products/services
  • Processing transactions
  • Supporting with the ecommerce side of the business (online hair extension sales)
  • Acting as P/A to the director
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as and when required with the wider operation of the business
  • Receptionist experience within a hairdresser/salon/cosmetic setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Must be well presented, approachable, bubbly and outgoing
