Description
We are looking for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to work in two schools in Norwich.


The schools provide day placements for students aged 6 to 16 with communication, interaction, and specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia.


As the OT you will be providing therapy within the school to identify the needs of the students by carrying assessment to enable them to fulfil their potential in all aspects of their lives.


You will write in depth reports to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills that are based on the analysis of findings from the assessment carried out and consequently advise and source where appropriate specialist equipment believed to help address the needsof the child or young person.


You will be responsible professionally and legally for all aspects of your own work including the management of students in your care while liaising with senior managers ,SENCO and all teaching staff.


  • A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Driving Licence and Vehicle Business Insurance. Working with children in their home may be required.
  • Previous experience in an Occupational Therapist role, preferably with children and young adults.
  • Have knowledge of legislation relevant to Occupational Therapy, education and social care.
