We're representing an established commercial removals company who are seeking experienced Removals Van Drivers to join the team based in Essex.

The successful applicant will be expected to interact professionally with removal customers and clients and as such will possess an excellent customer service manner.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform road removals around the UK as a member of a removals crew
  • Lend a hand when the removals crew is packing or unloading household items
  • Conduct road removals and storage for businesses and offices in the UK
  • To make sure that all schedules established with clients are fulfilled, or in cases where this is impractical, to make sure that branch management and clients are informed of any necessary schedule changes
  • Maintain clean, functional, and roadworthy condition of business vehicles and equipment
  • Comply with all EU drivers' hours / WTD regulations

Requirements:


  • Have prior removals experience (packing, wrapping, loading, dismantling / reassembling, dealing with customers)
  • Must have a current, valid license appropriate to the category required.
  • Clean driving licence
  • Physically able in order to lift and move customers household goods
  • Driving experience within the removals industry is desirable
  • Punctual, professional and dedicated
  • Strong geographical knowledge
