BDS are recruiting for a passionate, energetic and inspirational Support Worker who will work within our team near Haverfordwest to provide high standards of person-centred support on a 24 hour rota.

Our service is for individuals experiencing homelessness and residing at a site delivering 22 units of emergency accommodation.
Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good, trusting relationships, supporting people to achieve their aspirations.
This is a fast paced, reactive environment where energy and initiative are vital.

We are looking for someone with a sound understanding of the support needs of people facing homelessness who typically use our services.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ;

Partake in a 24 hour rota, working double cover shifts.
Provide an enabling, personal centered, collaborative and strong partnership approach, working closely with other organisations within the community to maximize opportunities.
Work with people to help them articulate their goals, dreams and aspirations offering personal, beneficial and emotional support.
Regularly review the person centred support plan to update, record and monitor progress of each person.
Develop and maintain relationships with people to enable personcentred support through regular contact including visits to their home and appropriate community settings.
Provide support to help people manage their own lives and their home to their full potential including dealing with benefits, budgeting and neighbour relations

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Welsh speaker is desirable but not essential
