This well established and successful company close to Bury town centre is expanding and looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join them on a 6 month fixed term contract. Along with a salary of £28,000, they offer excellent working conditionsand benefits that include 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), healthcare cashback plan, death in service benefits, free parking, and a pension scheme.

What will you be doing as a Recruitment Advisor?
Working as part of the HR team in a hybrid role, you will be assisting with all aspects of internal recruitment for the business


Duties will include:

  • Creating or updating job descriptions and person specifications
  • Managing advertising of vacancies, including preparing job adverts, shortlisting, and the sifting of CVs, and providing HR support with the interview and selection process
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies
  • Supporting onboarding to ensure all new starter paperwork is completed
  • Producing and issuing offer letters and employee contracts
  • Running new starter HR inductions
  • Organising agency staff. liaising with the relevant agencies
  • Responding to reference requests
  • Running recruitment and selection training for Hiring Managers

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous strong experience in a similar Inhouse Recruiter, Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Agency role
  • Excellent communication skills and confident to deal with all manner of people
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Strong integrity
  • Comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using an ATS system would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Able to commit to a 6 month fixed term role
