An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of DCHS Domestic team at Ilkeston Community Hospital.


The post holder will provide a high quality domestic cleaning service, working individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors.

Although experience is desirable, this is not essential as full training will be given.


What really matters is that we provide everyone of our patients with an excellent experience along with a service that really cares and and that we achieve this every day.

Rota details - you will be working on a 7 day rolling rota to include weekends and bank holidays

To provide a high quality domestic service to hospital, and clinicial settings.


Working either individually or as part of a team in ensuring a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors following agreed work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with the National Standards of Cleanliness.


The post holder will be required to have a flexible approach and be prepared to work on other sites should service demands dictate.

To play an integral part in delivering outstanding patient care at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS).


Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.


We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.


During the pandemic response we have led the implementation of public vaccination centres in collaboration with partners across health and social care.
