I am currently working with a large and experienced multi-disciplined practice who are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their team.

My client work on a wide range of projects across a variety of different sectors includingresidential, commercial, and retail. Their expertise includes feasibility and planning, construction information, project management and visualisation. The companies' proficiencies also extend to working on Listed Buildings, structures within the ConservationArea and Heritage Buildings.

Skills and responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Issue inspection reports after attending site meetings
  • Strong organisational and presentational skills
  • Produce working drawings and technical designs to a high standard.
  • Liaise with your planning team in regard to the planning conditions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Able to take a proactive approach to problem solving and not require supervision

Essentials needed for this Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Strong AutoCAD and Sketchup skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good understanding UK Building Regulations and Planning Policies.
  • Extensive Residential/ Housing experience and examples apparent through CV.
  • 35 years' work experience in a UK based practice
