Introduction:

Our client is a multinational information technology services and consulting company They are looking for a Database Administrator to work across multiple teams to implement standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.**Due to the nature of this role, you must hold the highest level of DV clearance and a full British passport.

This a hybrid role that will require you on site in Gloucestershire 2-3 days a week.

Key responsibilities:

Provide first and second level technical support on incidents and problems
Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
Assist in building compliance
Identify risk and escalate to the correct department
Work to ITIL best practices

Skills & experience:

Excellent risk identification skills
Exposure to automation software (Ansible and Puppet)
Experience or knowledge of various Red Hat related products (Satellite 6, OpenShift 3/4, RHEL/CentOS 6/7/8, and RHEL Atomic/CoreOS)
Knowledge of scripting with Bash, Python, and/or Git
Experience of AWS
