Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Acute Receiving Units Nursing team as Nurse Educator Facilitator.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic to lead, deliver and evaluate the training and education across the Acute Receiving Units.

This role would help support provision of high quality and innovative teaching and assessing in the clinical setting demonstrating a flexible and responsive approach when required.

This is a multifactorial role includes the overseeing and delivery nurse training and development of clinical knowledge and skill set within medical specialties, which include Cardiology, Respiratory, Diabetes and Endocrine and Gastroenterology.


The post holder will be required to liaise with specialist teams to develop a high standard of communication, identify learning needs and strategies to achieve best practice, seamless paths of care and ensure a high standard of practice is provided within Acute Receiving Units.


As well as leading in regards of the development of the educational needs of the Acute Receiving Units nursing team, the post holder will coordinate the provision of undergraduate placements across the department to ensure that learning needs are identified and the support is available to ensure a successful positive learning experience is achieved.


Using systems approach the purpose of the role is to create an improved learning environment, enhancing the quality of the practice learning experience, facilitating learning and positively contributing to the ongoing development of the Acute Receiving Nursing Team to ensure a high quality of care is provided to patients and that best practice is achieved in line with current evidence.

These fundamental components of the role contribute to the minimisation of risk to patients.
