I am recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based in the Thirsk area who are expanding their team due to continued growth.

The role is offering a highly competitive salary of £28,400 - £31,250 per annum, following a weekly rotating 3 shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am)

Great commute from York, Ripon, Malton, Northallerton, Thirsk, and all surrounding areas.

The benefits of the Food Production Operative role are;

  • Starting Salary of £28,400 (£14.11ph) rising to £ £15.51ph on successful completion of probation

The successful Production Operative will be required to;

  • Weigh out, mix and pack batches of ingredients
  • Work to strict production deadlines adhering to all SOPs at all times
  • Conduct quality checks throughout shift and complete all paperwork for auditing purposes
  • Meet production targets
  • Report system and plant breakdowns
  • Ensuring relevant documents are up to date
To be considered for the Food Production Operative role you will;

  • Ideally have previous production or packaging line experience within an automated environment
  • Ideally have worked in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Preferably have HACCP/hygiene experience
  • Enjoy working as part of a team to hit production targets
  • Have a keen eye for detail and good IT skills
  • Must be able to commit to rotating shift pattern
  • Need own transport due to location

Salary:
£28,438.00-£31,250.00 per year
