Position Summary:

Supervise small teams to work within any of the following ambient and cold chain operational areas;

  • Packaging
  • Inventory
  • Despatch

Key Responsibilities:


  • Activities to be carried out in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain good housekeeping and promote a safe working environment
  • Highlight and propose solutions to potential Health and Safety and Quality risks, near misses and accidents to Line Management
  • Maintain compliance through training and competency programme
  • Focus on internal customers (Quality, Engineering, Business Planning) and external customers (Clients, Regulatory Bodies, Contractors, Suppliers) priorities
  • Support department induction programme
  • Supervise a small team focusing on job and schedule accomplishment
  • Support management in coaching, development and training.
  • Highlight and improve process efficiencies to achieve business objectives
  • Embrace and support process improvement utilizing PPI/Lean tools
  • Undertake any other duties on an adhoc basis as required by your Line Manager

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
(Preferred but not essential):

  • English GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Mathematics GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Spatial Awareness-Diagram interpretation and understanding
  • Worked within a GMP environment
  • Worked within an operational environment
  • Competent in use of electronic and automated equipment
  • Supervisory experience
